Bone Drone + Death Techno. In the first offering on this release, three artists perform extended percussive techniques on found bones and process the acoustic meditation through a series of effects for a surreal and droney meditative sound piece. (See a live video here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Mq9SCW7f34 ). For the second behemoth 40 minute offering, Garrote performs improvised electronic drums and bone percussion on top of time stretched bone sounds for a dark ambient & wild piece that swings through genres of dark techno, drone & free improv and atmospheres of trance-like serenity and doom without warning. Almost all sounds on this release came exclusively from found bones on hikes and travels.
